Skin Boosting & Bio-stimulating Treatments in Wollongong
Collagen renewal. Skin regeneration. Long-term results.
At Scar Atelier, skin boosting treatments are designed to improve skin quality by working with your body — not against it.
Rather than creating instant, superficial change, these treatments stimulate your skin’s natural regenerative processes to rebuild collagen, strengthen structure, and improve overall skin integrity over time.
As collagen production slows with age, skin can become thinner, less elastic, and more prone to fine lines and textural changes. Biostimulators support long-term skin health by encouraging the skin to repair, regenerate, and function more effectively.
Treatment Information
Biostimulating treatments use advanced formulations to activate fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin.
Depending on the treatment selected, they may work to:
Stimulate collagen and elastin production
Improve skin thickness and elasticity
Refine texture and smooth fine lines
Enhance hydration and skin quality
Strengthen fragile or ageing skin
These treatments are not designed to add volume in the traditional sense, but rather to improve the quality and structure of the skin itself.
Common treatment areas include:
Face
Under-eye area
Neck
Décolletage
Hands
Areas of scarring or textural change
A series of treatments is typically recommended, with results developing gradually as collagen regeneration occurs.
-
Biostimulating treatments are ideal for improving fine lines, skin laxity, crepey skin, dullness, and overall skin quality. They are also beneficial for prevention and long-term skin maintenance.
-
Some early improvements in hydration and skin quality may be noticed within weeks, with continued improvement over time as collagen production increases.
-
A personalised treatment plan will be created during consultation. Many clients benefit from a series of treatments for optimal regeneration.
