Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy in Wollongong
Your cells. Your growth factors. Regeneration from within.
At Scar Atelier, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses your body’s own healing ability to restore skin quality and support hair growth.
PRP is derived from a small sample of your blood, which is processed to concentrate platelets rich in growth factors. These growth factors play a key role in tissue repair, collagen production, and cellular regeneration.
This makes PRP a versatile treatment for both skin rejuvenation and hair restoration, working naturally with your body to improve quality, strength, and function over time.
About the Treatment
Once your PRP is prepared, it is carefully introduced into targeted areas to stimulate regeneration.
PRP works to:
Stimulate collagen and elastin production
Improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity
Support tissue repair and healing
Strengthen hair follicles and encourage growth
Improve scalp health and circulation
Skin Rejuvenation
PRP can be used to improve:
Fine lines and early signs of ageing
Under-eye concerns
Skin texture and dullness
Acne scarring and skin healing
Hair Restoration
PRP is also used to support hair growth by:
Stimulating dormant hair follicles
Strengthening existing hair
Improving hair density and thickness
Supporting scalp health
It is commonly used for early hair thinning or hair loss, in both men and women.
A course of treatments is typically recommended, with results developing progressively.
